The SAI-M01 with 14cm blade is the smaller version of the SAI-01 (19cm chef's knife), the leading knife in the Global SAI range. The handle design incorporates an ergonomic thumb rest which helps set the right grip for the best cutting technique. The 19cm chef's knife is a larger size and is equivalent in the SAI range to the best selling knife in the Classic range, the G-2. Enjoy slicing through veggies like butter or general chopping, dicing and mincing with this amazing knife. The cook's knife comes in two further sizes: SAI-01, a 19cm chef's knife and SAI-06, a larger 25cm model, which is more suited towards professional chefs.

Global's SAI knives feature a 3-ply stainless steel blade, with the core being made from Global's unique ultra-hard Cromova18 Stainless Steel and the two outer layers of 18/10 steel for added strength and corrosion resistance. Each SAI blade has an individually hammered pattern design on the blades to create hollow air pockets that reduce drag, allowing the blade to glide through food without sticking.. The seven dots on the handles of the SAI range are designed to represent the seven noble virtues of the Japanese Samurai’s code of honour: Integrity, Courage, Compassion, Respect, Honesty, Honour and Loyalty.
