King Pro Whetstone is an extra thick Medium Grit whetstone.

The extra thickness increases the usable life and ads extra stabitity. 

Always sharpen your knife on a firm surface and place the stone on a damp towel or rubber mat prevent it from slipping while in use.

A sharpening platform can also be used.
